It's been a busy weekend here.
- homeschool books stacked from lesson planning, on a bin of glue, tape and Velcro supplies
-a tablet that works 85% of the time with a touchy keyboard
- hubby's Bible open
- an old photo album of Mama G
- PS3 controllers (100 degree summer weather + daddy home = video games galore)
- Legos
- crayons
-an open marker and some drawings by HoneyLemon
- Has anyone seen mom's sunglasses? ...
- a box of thank you cards
- an empty coffee cup
- scissors, a screw driver and a roll of magnet tape
- an unused coaster aka floor-hockey puck
- VBS bracelet
- music binder
- salsa dribbled from midnight snack
Every home has one of these... a drop zone stacked with papers, toys, books, tools, miscellaneous messes... all evidence of life at home! Sometimes the mess can blind me to the blessings. But I can choose to look past the mess and be thankful for the PEOPLE (I love a lot) who worked, played, learned and lived here! We can find out what's important, what work has been done, what fun has been had, what memories have been made by looking past the mess and SEEING the blessings beyond.
So what does your desk say about life in your home?
His, Mama G
